What is up with this? Leavenworth, The Great Escape? I caught this billboard on the way to K.C.and well I’ve always associated Leavenworth with maximum security military prisons. But a vacation destination,the great escape and prisons, now that’s ironic. There are actually 4 prisons in Leavenworth, so I’m sure a great escape would be part of an inmates plan. Apparently the guy who escaped in a dog crate thinks it is. Article
