So what happens when you have a gaggle of musicians, songwriters and friends collaborating who are in or have been in bands? Well you start Songpull. Birthed from the idea of the Guitarpulls held in Johny Cash’s home in the early days, Songpull is held once a month in the heartland of Springfield MO. Artist have 1 month to write a NEW song from scratch and perform it at Songpull. I’ve had the chance to be involved in the video process of the first 2, and I’ve been enthralled with the interesting, emotional, comedic, soulful,  heartfelt and damn good songs from the songwriters every month.Songpull.com is now selling DVDs and posting video’s of the events with the artist songs and interviews. Songpull 3 was Saturday, May 6th. It was a great experience. I must
say that the song writing bar is rising. All of the songs in Songpull 3
were amazing. There were moments when I had to fight back tears. Some
other Songpull 3 guests couldn’t. It was a great night and made me
proud to have the friends that I have.
