The Future Laboratory launched a new PDF magazine download, “THE”, that whips you through their observations on world culture and trends. The quarterly is a straightforward look at current products, people, ideas and events aimed at an audience of marketers, creative directors, designers and the like. The recurring section, “The City Boxes,” uses a photo of a neatly-laid out objects to explore cities. Other sections explore topics like contemporary church architecture, friends who dress like twins and how to reinvent a flailing or forgotten brand, but are never longer than a few pages. “THE” is good quick read and worth the download to add to the collection of “Trend” spotting clutter and opinions.
